Job Summary
Roadway Team Lead responsible for leading a design/engineering group in North Carolina, overseeing the production of roadway plans and design calculations, coordinating with clients and Parsons disciplines, and managing scopes, budgets, and schedules. Bring a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, 10–12+ years of roadway/highway experience, and a North Carolina Professional Engineer license. The role includes mentoring staff, serving as discipline lead or Project Engineer from preliminary through final design, and travel to client/project sites as needed. The position may report remotely from North Carolina (Raleigh or Charlotte) or work from NC locations, with opportunities to lead major regional and national projects including Alternative Delivery/Design-Build and P3s, while ensuring compliance with standards, quality requirements, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 10 to 12+ years of roadway/highway engineering experience
- North Carolina PE
- Strong skills in roadway design software and current engineering technologies
- Excellent communication skills and thorough knowledge of industry standards and regulations
