Job Summary
Serve as Project Manager for FDOT roadway design projects, ensuring compliance with state and local agency standards. Lead teams of engineers and designers to develop roadway plans, while collaborating with clients, sub-consultants, and technical staff to deliver quality results within schedule and budget. Provide mentorship to junior engineers and support business development through proposal writing and client presentations for FDOT initiatives. This role requires a Florida Professional Engineer license and over 10 years of transportation roadway design experience. Base salary and sign-on bonus apply.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science from an ABET-accredited university in Civil Engineering
- Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license
- 10+ years of transportation roadway design experience
- Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale projects and teams
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables while meeting deadlines
- Detail-oriented team player with the ability to contribute to a positive work environment
