Job Summary
The Roadway Project Engineer will create and execute project work plans, manage project teams while being accountable for budget and schedule, and mentor junior staff. The role involves contributing to division strategic growth initiatives, interacting with clients, agencies, and stakeholders, and representing Benesch at industry events. Candidates should have a minimum of 4 years in civil transportation design, a B.S. in Civil Engineering, and a PE license. Strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and advanced CADD use are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of diverse and progressive civil transportation design experience
- Licensed PE in the state of PA or planning to obtain licensure in the near future
- B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering
- Progressive experience with developing plans specifications, and submissions per DOT standards and requirements
- Excellent communication and client relation skills
- Strong organizational skills with a track record for adhering to design budgets and schedules
- Ability to work independently and develop task deliverables in a complete and reviewable manner
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with public agencies, private entities, and/or municipalities
- Advanced use of CADD
