Job Summary
We are looking for a Project Engineer with our Civil Roadway team. This role involves delivering transportation projects, working independently within a design team, managing budgets and schedules, and mentoring junior staff. The candidate must possess a minimum of 4 years of civil transportation design experience, a PE license or the ability to obtain one, and a B.S. in Civil Engineering. Strong skills in MicroStation and Geopak are essential, along with excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 4 years of diverse and progressive civil transportation design experience
- Licensed PE in the state of TN or able to obtain licensure through comity within one year
- B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering
- Excellent communication and client relation skills
- Strong organizational skills with a track record for adhering to design budgets and schedules
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with public agencies, private entities and/or municipalities
- Progressive experience with developing plans specifications, and submissions per DOT standards
- Advanced use of MicroStation and Geopak
- OpenRoads Designer experience
