Job Summary
The Roadway Project Engineer will work closely with senior staff to deliver transportation projects while independently executing project work plans. Responsibilities include mentoring junior staff, managing project budgets and schedules, and ensuring compliance with project CADD standards. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in civil transportation design, a B.S. in Civil Engineering, and proficiency in Civil3D. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with various stakeholders are essential.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 4 years of diverse and progressive civil transportation design experience
- Licensed PE in the state of Wisconsin or able to obtain licensure through comity within one year
- B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with public agencies, private entities and/or municipalities
- Progressive experience with developing plans specifications, and submissions per DOT standards and requirements
- Excellent communication and client relation skills
- Strong organizational skills with a track record for adhering to design budgets and schedules
- Civil3D Designer proficiency
Additional Requirements
- Candidates must have a minimum of 4 years of experience
- Must be a licensed PE in Wisconsin or eligible for licensure
