Job Summary
Roadway Pavement Marking and Striping Machine Operator casts a key role in applying temporary and permanent roadway markings. The role involves reading and interpreting roadway striping plans, operating various pavement marking equipment, loading/unloading gear, standing and walking for extended periods, assisting with lane closures and traffic-control setup, completing required daily paperwork, and performing other duties as assigned. Requires 3-5 years of pavement marking/traffic control experience and MOT Advanced certification, a valid driver's license (MVR/background checks may apply), and the ability to work outdoors in potentially high-traffic construction environments. Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of pavement marking and Traffic Control or related industry experience (e.g. Road Construction, Highway Maintenance, Construction)
- MOT Advanced certification
- Valid driver''s license; may require MVR check and background/criminal record check
- Comfortable working outdoors in high speed traffic areas and construction environments
- Ability to read highway construction plans, manuals, reports, and instructions
- Ability to operate pavement marking equipment and load/unload from company vehicles
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Flexible schedule including day/night shifts, weekends/holidays
- Able to follow safety guidelines and company policies
