Job Summary
Develop roadway lighting design packages for highway improvement projects and alternative delivery projects, including mega-projects. Produce CAD designs using AGi32, Visual, Microstation, and OpenRoads software for public and private clients. Lead design efforts as a Task Lead or Subject Matter Expert across junior, mid-level, and senior engineering tiers. Work on integrated transportation solutions that modernize and expand infrastructure systems. Hybrid remote/in-office schedule based at a local AECOM office in the southern US.
Required Qualifications
- BS Degree or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
- BS in Engineering + 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
- BS in Engineering + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
- BS in Engineering + 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
- Experience in developing roadway lighting design packages for highway improvement projects
- Experience or interest in alternative delivery projects
- Experience in the use of AGi32 or Visual lighting design software, as well as Microstation & OpenRoads
- All newly hired employees are required to attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location as a condition of employment
Desired Qualifications
- EIT Certification or PE License
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- State DOT experience
