Job Summary

Operate an emergency response vehicle to perform roadside assistance, accident management, and debris removal on I-66. Dispatched by the Traffic Management Center, you will oversee team coordination, conduct traffic control, and perform minor equipment repairs using the IRTMA. Maintain compliance with safety protocols, adapt quickly to changing event conditions, and work alternate schedules including weekends and night shifts. Available for on-call emergency response as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years in traffic control/management
  • National Traffic Incident Management Responder Training
  • Advanced First Aid
  • NIMS 100,200,700
  • Basic automotive mechanics knowledge
  • Proven leadership experience and ability to manage a team
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability and willingness to work alternate work schedules, including weekends and night shifts
  • Ability to individually lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
  • Must be able to work in elevated positions in various kinds of weather conditions

Desired Qualifications

  • CDL not required but the potential to obtain one is required
