Job Summary
The Roadway Group Manager will manage and grow the Kansas-based roadway engineering group, oversee project teams while being accountable for budget and schedule, and contribute to strategic growth initiatives. The role requires managing client relationships, leading strategic project pursuits, and collaborating on regional growth strategy. Candidates should hold a BSCE or related discipline and be a licensed Professional Engineer in Kansas and Missouri or capable of obtaining licensure upon hire. Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- BSCE or related discipline
- Professional Engineer licensure in Kansas and Missouri or the ability to obtain licensure upon hire required
- Progressive experience working directly with clients developing relationships, with proven ability to win work
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with the Kansas/Missouri DOT and/or local agencies preferred
- Progressive experience in project development and delivery of Roadway Planning and/or Traffic and Roadway Engineering and Design services
- Excellent communication, business development, project management, and client relation skills
- Strong communication, organization and leadership skills with a track record for understanding and adhering to contractual requirements
- Ability to lead, manage and grow a diverse, dynamic team
