Job Summary
Roadway Engineer responsible for the design of roadways and drainage for INDOT or other DOT clients, overseeing analyses, developing calculations, and preparing PS&E contract documents; collaborate within a team of roadway engineers on design and contract documents for transportation projects; manage project documentation, schedules, budgets, and scope; hybrid or remote work possible in Indiana; requires 5-8 years of roadway/bridge design experience, a BS in Civil Engineering, and a Professional Engineer (PE) license; experience with MicroStation/OpenRoads and traffic/dra inage/roundabout/highway lighting design is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Civil Engineering required
- Professional Engineer (PE) required
- 5-8 years of demonstrated experience in roadway and/or bridge design and plan preparation on transportation projects for DOT clients
- INDOT experience is a plus
- Experience in design software (MicroStation and OpenRoads designer a plus)
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
