Roadway Engineer

Roadway Engineer responsible for the design of roadways and drainage for INDOT or other DOT clients, overseeing analyses, developing calculations, and preparing PS&E contract documents in accordance with state and local requirements. Works within a team of roadway engineers on design and contract documents for transportation projects; manages and maintains project documentation, schedules, budgets, and project scope. Requires a BS in Civil Engineering and PE licensure; 5-8 years of experience in roadway/bridge design for DOT projects; experience with design software such as MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer is a plus. Desired skills include traffic modeling, roundabout design, drainage design, and highway lighting design; strong written and verbal communication; hybrid or remote work possible; Indiana resident preferred.
