Job Summary
Roadway EIT needed to contribute to design and preparation of technical reports, analysis/calculations and construction documents under the responsible charge of a Professional Engineer. Responsibilities include preparation of accurate presentation, design, details and construction documents; preparation of permit applications and submittal packages to agencies; coordination with clients, subconsultants, permitting agencies, utility providers, contractors and other project stakeholders; and development and adherence to project scope, schedules, and budgets. Requires 2 years of roadway design experience, OpenRoads Designer preferred, EIT certification preferred, and strong communication skills. Hybrid work schedule available among Frankfort, Lexington, or New Albany locations. Excellent compensation package with benefits and 401(k) included.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years experience in all technical aspects of roadway design
- Experience with OpenRoads Designer preferred
- EIT Certification is preferred
- Detail-oriented individual with strong technical and organizational skills
- Proficiency in spreadsheets, word processing and standard industry software.
- Works well in multidisciplinary team environments and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong oral presentation and written communication skills
