Job Summary
Respond to roadside assistance requests from AAA members within the Greater Boise area by operating a AAA-owned service truck to perform tire changes, fuel delivery, and minor mechanical repairs. When issues cannot be resolved on-site, safely tow members to their chosen place of repair using either a flat-bed or wheel lift truck. Provide outstanding service while balancing, bending, and lifting up to 75 pounds, maintaining a sense of urgency and calm under pressure. Work flexible schedules including Saturday through Tuesday or Friday through Monday.
Required Qualifications
- Valid drivers' license
- Excellent driving record
- Successful completion of a criminal background screening
- Successful completion of a DMV background screening
- Successful completion of employment verification
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen (including cannabis)
- Age 21 or older
- DOT Medical card certification
- Ability to balance
- Ability to bend
- Ability to kneel
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Self-motivation
- Sense of urgency
- Desire to help others
- Problem-solving ability
- Ability to stay positive and calm under pressure
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years of driving experience
- 2+ years of customer service experience
- Previous towing experience
