Job Summary
Roadside Assistance Technician role with AAA The Auto Club Group (ACG). Responsibilities include operating and servicing full-size or mini service/tow trucks, locating member breakdown locations using GPS/maps, providing fuel, battery testing/replacement, jumpstarts, lockout, and tire care, arranging or towing vehicles when needed, and delivering excellent member service. Benefits include a $22.50/hour starting wage in Tennessee, overtime potential, shift premiums, a $1,000 sign-on bonus, paid training and comprehensive benefits. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license; 21+ years old; ability to lift up to 75 pounds; successful completion of pre-employment and DOT screenings. The role involves field service with exposure to road hazards and temperature extremes, and may include attendance bonuses and professional development opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- 21 years of age or older
- Possess a valid state driver’s license with minimal driving infractions/incidents
- Experience with tablets or electronic devices for updating calls, reviewing policies, and documenting safety records
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Ability to pass drug screening, MVR, criminal background check, and DOT health screenings
