Job Summary
Roadside Assistance Technician role at AAA The Auto Club Group (ACG). Responsibilities include operating and deploying tow or service trucks to assist members, performing fuel delivery, battery tests/replacements, jumpstarts, lockout service, and tire changes; using GPS/maps to locate breakdowns; ensuring 100% member satisfaction through professional customer service; and supporting events and on-the-go services. Compensation includes a starting hourly wage of $22.50 in GA with overtime, shift premiums, a sign-on bonus, and comprehensive benefits. Effective safety and compliance measures are required (drug screening, background checks, DOT health screenings).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- 21 years of age or older
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Drug screening, MVR, criminal background check and DOT health screenings
- Experience with tablets/electronic devices for calls and policies
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to navigate using GPS/maps
- Experience with vehicle service tasks (fuel, battery, jumpstarts, lockouts, tire changes)
