Job Summary
Roadside Assistance Technician role involving operating a tow or service truck to assist AAA members, locating breakdown locations with GPS, performing fuel delivery, battery tests/replacements, jumpstarts, lockout service, and tire changes; arranging towing when vehicle cannot be started or is unsafe; delivering excellent customer service to members; supporting events and promotions; and maintaining safety and readiness for on-the-road duties. Requires valid driver's license, ability to lift 75 lbs, reliable attendance, comfortable with DOT screenings, and experience using tablets for reporting. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- 21 years of age or older
- Possess a valid state driver’s license with minimal driving infractions/incidents
- Able to lift up to 75 pounds
- Ability to complete drug screening, MVR, criminal background check and DOT health screenings
- Experience using tablets or electronic devices to update calls and complete duties
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to operate service or tow trucks
- Ability to perform fuel service, battery testing/replacement, jumpstarts, lockout service, tire changes/inflation
