Job Summary
Roadside Assistance Technician position with AAA The Auto Club Group. You will operate full-size or mini service/tow trucks, use GPS to locate breakdowns, perform fuel delivery, battery testing/replacement, jumpstarts, lockout service, tire changes and inflating, and arrange to tow a member’s vehicle when needed. Responsibilities include providing 100% member satisfaction through excellent customer service, supporting events, and contributing to on-the-go tow or battery test/sales. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 75 lbs, and willingness to work evenings/weekends; benefits include sign-on bonus, training, and comprehensive compensation. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- 21 years of age or older
- Possess a valid state driver’s license with minimal driving infractions/incidents
- If employed in Illinois, possession of a valid Illinois C-Non CDL driver’s license is required
- Experience using tablets or electronic devices to update calls and document safety records
- Ability to lift materials weighing up to 75 pounds
- Ability to pass drug screening, MVR, criminal background check and DOT health screenings
- Exhibit strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work evenings and weekends (schedules may change based on seniority and productivity)
