Job Summary
Respond to dispatch calls and member requests for roadside assistance, managing estimated time of arrival and addressing member emotional states. Assess scene safety, provide minor mechanical assistance like jump starts, and tow vehicles per Club policies and manufacturer specifications. Maintain service vehicle safety, inventory tools, and collect revenue accurately while safeguarding confidential information. Educate members on AAA products and coordinate with dispatch to facilitate member destinations. Work independently across various fleet locations, including nights, weekends, and holidays, adhering to all traffic laws and safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 21 years of age
- Active and valid driver's license issued by only one state or jurisdiction
- Satisfactorily pass a motor vehicle record check during pre-hire screening
- Satisfactorily pass a motor vehicle record check periodically during employment
Desired Qualifications
- Post-secondary training in automotive mechanics
- Familiarity of electrical troubleshooting
