Job Summary
Roadside Service Tech Flatbed delivers safe, best-in-class roadside solutions for AAA members from a flatbed or tow vehicle. Responsibilities include accepting calls, communicating ETA, locating and reassuring members, assessing scene safety, performing minor mechanical assistance, determining the best course of action, towing when needed, maintaining vehicle and equipment, promoting AAA products and services, handling payments, and adhering to safety policies. The role requires independent work, flexible shifts, and standard customer-service readiness to ensure member satisfaction and a professional AAA image.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Post-secondary training in automotive mechanics and familiarity of electrical troubleshooting
Additional Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Active and valid driver’s license issued by only one state or jurisdiction
- DOT card pre-hire and as a current employee within 1 Year
- Satisfactorily pass a motor vehicle record check during pre-hire screening and periodically during employment
