Job Summary
Conduct planned maintenance work across the Victorian Road Maintenance Contract, including vegetation control, graffiti removal, pot hole repairs, sign maintenance, and asphalt laying. Operate mobile plant safely near live traffic while performing physical duties such as shovelling, raking, and brooming. Participate in toolbox meetings, pre-starts, risk assessments, and project-specific data capture. Requires a current vehicle licence (HR or HC beneficial), construction induction card, and availability to work overtime, weekends, and nights. Based at the Warrnambool depot with opportunities for apprenticeships and training.
Required Qualifications
- Availability to work overtime, weekends and nights when required
- A current vehicle licence (HR or HC licence beneficial)
- Construction induction card
- Mobile plant experience would be beneficial
- An interest in working outdoors, in all weather conditions
- Positions are based at our Warrnambool depot
- The pre-employment process will include a medical check, including drug and alcohol screening
Desired Qualifications
- Ideally you will hold a HR or HC licence (MR acceptable)
- We're looking for candidates who have asphalt/industry experience or a desire to learn and progress in a new industry
- Mobile plant experience would be beneficial
- An interest in working outdoors, in all weather conditions
