Job Summary
Perform preventive maintenance, diagnose, and make advanced repairs on customer-site equipment including aerial work platforms, construction tools, generators, pumps, and HVAC systems. Work in challenging remote locations using mechanic's tools, applying knowledge of hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting fundamentals. Maintain a safe, effective workflow while managing changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Valid driver's license and 1-2 years of diesel or heavy equipment experience required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Acceptable driving record
- 21 years of age
- CDL license (in some locations)
Desired Qualifications
- Some trade school or equivalent training
- 1-2 years of mechanic experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment or specialty lines equipment (large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC or Oil & Gas equipment)
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals
- Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals
- Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual (Spanish or Other)
