Job Summary
Perform tire repairs, replacements, and general service to tires and wheels at customer locations, on the road, or at the shop. Raise vehicles with hydraulic jacks, use air tools, and mount, dismount, balance, replace, and repair commercial truck tires. Execute roadside tire changes for light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks in customer yards or shops, and recognize repairable tires to perform proper repairs. Operate a commercial service truck, conduct daily maintenance on the vehicle and equipment, and communicate all work via tags, work orders, and invoices. Maintain a safe driving record and perform all tasks using required safety gear. Will be rotated for after-hours road service calls.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess or be willing to obtain a DOT Medical Card
- Must be or willing to get TIA certified
- Valid Driver's License
- Successful completion of pre-employment background checks and drug screening
