Job Summary
Travel to customer sites daily in MA to perform routine maintenance and service on equipment, completing work within communicated time frames. Notify the manager of additional tasks or delays, collaborate with the Service Writer on work orders, and complete all required paperwork, inventory, and billing. Maintain technical qualification through training programs and Bobcat University, while documenting time and materials used. Keep the service vehicle, company inventory, and tools clean and safe, performing daily safety checks and routine preventive maintenance. Secure construction equipment using chaining, strapping, and blocking, and apply knowledge of DOT regulations. Operate compact construction equipment competently and possess a complete set of basic hand tools. Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. Located at Bobcat of Boston in North Reading, MA.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years experience with equipment maintenance and repair experience
- Ability to travel daily locally within MA
- Must be 21 years old
- Must have a current driver's license in good standing
- Must have a clean driving record
- Must have solid work history
- Must be able to pass DOT drug test
- Must be able to pass DOT physical
- Must obtain medical card
- Must have satisfactory results of a criminal background screening
- Must be competent at operating compact construction equipment
- Ability to apply knowledge of DOT regulations
- Possess a complete set of basic mechanic hand tools
- Proficiency with a computer
- Must demonstrate integrity
- Must demonstrate adaptability
- Must demonstrate a strong customer service focus
