Job Summary
Road Patrol Technician responsible for maintaining a clean roadway by picking up debris, debris removal, and setting up safe MOT with cones, signage, and arrow boards. Tasks include patching potholes, cutting brush, burning weeds, painting, flagging, tool/equipment maintenance, pre/post trip checks, and coordinating repairs. Based in the Fort Pierce, FL area with on-site job site transportation provided; requires outdoor work, exposure to traffic, and a valid driver’s license. Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to work outdoors and in adverse weather conditions
- Routinely exposed to traffic hazards, noise, chemicals and engine exhaust
- Independent work ability
- Capable of lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.) and stand for long periods
- Requires frequent bending, kneeling and twisting
- Ability to operate hand/power tools
- Clean driving record is essential
- Must pass criminal background check
