Job Summary
Road Mechanic to repair and maintain diesel and gasoline heavy equipment and trucks in the field across Western Pennsylvania. Responsibilities include driving to multiple locations, reviewing job orders, diagnosing equipment malfunctions, identifying and replacing faulty parts, inspecting protective guards and safety devices, dismantling and repairing components, reassembling and test-driving to verify repairs, overhauling engines, performing diagnostics with computers and specialized equipment, conducting front-end inspections and alignments, and performing other duties as assigned. Qualifications emphasize a high school diploma or GED, CDL B (with preferred CDL A), clean driving record, familiarity with CAT ET/SIS software, use of common hand tools, PPE, physical ability for lifting, and the ability to meet physical demands. The role supports ongoing training and benefits, with a compensation range of $18-$40 per hour depending on skill level.
Required Qualifications

- General computer knowledge; Caterpillar ET & SIS software
- Experience with heavy equipment maintenance and diagnostics
