Job Summary
Repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems on excavators, loaders, and other heavy diesel equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic problems for all types of construction equipment. Welding and fabrication experience preferred. Proficient in reading electrical and hydraulic schematics. Ability to assess all equipment to determine cause of issues or failures. Knowledge of DOT truck and trailer inspections. Other duties assigned by management. The role requires joining Local 77, owning transportation and hand tools, willingness to work outdoors in all weather, ability to lift 50 lbs, and willingness to work overtime. Maintain safety with PPE and adhere to Clark Construction’s policies. Drug screening and fitness-for-duty requirements apply.
Required Qualifications
- High School education or equivalent
- Willing to join International Union of Operating Engineers Local 77
- Have your own transportation
- Have own hand tools
- Welding certifications are preferred
