Job Summary
Performs unskilled and semi-skilled highway and other road and street maintenance duties, including flagging, snow shift assignments, and equipment operation. Duties include manual labor with hand tools, operating light equipment, occasional CDL-related procedures, and on-call responses for winter and emergency conditions. The role supports asphalt paving/patching teams and requires adherence to safety and on-site procedures in a high-performance, team-oriented environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduation or GED equivalent is required.
- Pre-employment testing requirements include an acceptable motor vehicle check, background check, physical capabilities examination, and a drug screen.
- Possession of a valid class

- driver’s license at the time of hire is required.
- Post-Employment Requirements: Possession of a valid Colorado CDL Class “B” driver’s license at time of hire is preferred. Ability to obtain a CDL Class B driver’s license with tanker endorsement within 6 months of hire is required.
- Ability to obtain flagger certification within 10 days of appointment is required. Flagger training is provided.
