Job Summary
Lead a crew for concrete, blacktop, and sealcoating teams while performing cement and asphalt road maintenance, sidewalk and curb repairs, and hot patching. Operate vehicles and equipment to haul materials, maintain machinery, and use power and hand tools in accordance with regulations. Handle heavy manual tasks for extended periods during all weather conditions, ensuring strict adherence to health and safety guidelines. Travel from time to time as needed. A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and experience with equipment operations are required.
Required Qualifications
- cement and/or asphalt maintenance experience
- Willingness to travel from time to time
- Experience in hauling equipment
- Maintaining equipment
- Experience with power tools and hand tools
- Physically capable of manual labor that includes lifting, bending, and reaching
- Positive attitude and willingness to lead and work as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and organizational skills
- Puts high value on doing a good job and self-supervisory skills
- Mechanically inclined
- Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
- Working knowledge of tools and devices
- Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Negative Drug Test
