Job Summary
Road Driver Associate Trainee (Overnight Shift) for New CDL Graduates. Combines driving with dock work, operating vehicles including dry vans and forklifts. Requires recent graduation from a Tractor Trailer Driving School, CDL/license, DOT physical, and supporting documents. Responsibilities include safe transport, loading/unloading, pre/post-trip inspections, record-keeping of deliveries and mileage, and following routes to designated terminals. - Certificate of completion from accredited Tractor Trailer Driving School
- Recent CDL graduate
- DOT physical
- Long form- 5 pages
- Transcripts
- Letter of Recommendation from Driving School
- Hazardous materials handling (hazMat) knowledge
- Clean driving record
- Ability to operate forklifts and other heavy equipment
- Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ability to load and unload cargo
- Ability to follow routes and schedules
