Job Summary
Respond to Member requests for roadside assistance, including mechanical repairs, battery boosts, tire changes, lockout services, and towing. Conduct detailed diagnostic assessments to identify vehicle issues and resolve appropriate solutions. Perform automotive repairs and maintenance tasks, ensuring quality workmanship and timely completion. Assist in all weather conditions, ensuring a positive Member experience throughout the assistance process. Uphold BCAA service and safety standards by ensuring BCAA vehicles, equipment, and tools are kept clean, orderly, and in good working condition. Report any issues and take the initiative to resolve them, seeking support as needed. Work rotational 24/7 shift work including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Completed your high school diploma
- Red Seal Certification
- at least 5 years of hands-on automotive repair and diagnostics
- good driver with a clean BC Driver License Class 5
- Capable of lifting at least 70lbs
- Work rotational 24/7 shift work (including weekdays, evenings, weekends & statutory holidays)
- Applicants who are not located within commuting distance of Kelowna or are not looking to relocate to the Interior region will not be considered
Desired Qualifications
- preferably with your Red Seal Certification
