Job Summary
Conduct assembly and disassembly of MTU engines, systems, and components per specification while inspecting parts for defects like breakage and excessive wear. Operate and test products to validate functionality, analyze test results to diagnose equipment capabilities, and create new processes or fixturing as needed. Reassemble components using hoists, and repair or replace damaged parts following blueprints and specification manuals. Work in a durable goods manufacturing environment requiring frequent standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- two years field service, mechanical or electrical troubleshooting experience
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S without sponsorship

Desired Qualifications
- Advanced operational ability and skill, as demonstrated by acquiring the points associated with Skilled Based Pay Competency Level 3
- Skilled use of mechanical and electrical hand tools
- Skilled use of measurement and testing tools for mechanical and electrical systems
- Knowledge in technical language and engineering terminology
- Knowledge in the practical principles of electronics, physics, hydraulics, and pneumatics
- Good factory representation, customer service and interpersonal skills
- Good organizational, planning and follow up skills
- Good analytical and creative problem-solving skills when problems are very complex
