RNFA - SURGERY CENTER

Conduct safe, effective, patient-family centered care in the operating room and perioperative services for all populations. Function as an RN First Assistant during operative and invasive procedures while administering medications according to standard nursing practice. Demonstrate effective communication, conflict management, and collaboration skills with the perioperative team and stakeholders. Integrate knowledge to meet patient and family education needs and utilize standards, guidelines, and protocols for care delivery. Incorporate data to continuously improve care and practice outcomes while assuming responsibility for self-development. Maintain an Alabama Board of Nursing license and CNOR certification with two years of RN or RNFA experience.
