Job Summary
Conduct perioperative nursing duties in an outpatient surgery setting, utilizing the nursing process to provide patient care and maintain professional accountability. Coordinate patient care with other departments while evaluating the overall effectiveness of care provided by direct caregivers. Ensure patient rights and confidentiality are upheld in all interactions. Requires minimum one year of perioperative nursing experience, active RN licensure, and BLS/ACLS certification within the first year. Involves prolonged standing, walking, and physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Active RN licensure in the state of practice
- Minimum of 1 year perioperative nursing experience
- BLS/ACLS certification
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
Desired Qualifications
- CNOR certification
- RN-First Assistant certification class
