Job Summary
Conduct safe, effective, patient-family centered care in the operating room and perioperative services as an RN First Assistant or circulator. Perform operative and invasive procedures while adhering to scope of practice credentials, privileges, and competency verification. Maintain current Georgia State licensure, CNOR, CRNFA, BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Requires 2 years perioperative RN or RNFA experience and 3 years CVOR experience if working in the CVOR. Full-time 9a-9p schedule at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a nursing program
- Completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program, which includes didactic and clinical components
- 2 years perioperative RN or RNFA experience
- 3 years minimum experience of as an RN or Surgical Tech in the CVOR, if working in the CVOR
- RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- CNOR - Certified Operating Room RN
- CRNFA - Certified Registered Nurse First Assistant
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
- ACLS
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
