Job Summary
Registered Nurse needed in Baptist Health ER & Urgent Care Sellersburg, mid-shift 1P-1A, full-time. Provides direct nursing care from admission to discharge in an ER/Urgent Care setting; collaborates with on-shift team to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers. Requires graduation from an approved nursing program and an Indiana or compact RN license. BLS is required; PALS and ACLS are required within 12 months of hire; NIH Stroke Scale Certification required within 10 weeks of hire. ER experience is preferred. On-site imaging and laboratory services are available; the department operates as a hybrid emergency room and urgent care. Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of approved nursing program.
- Current Indiana or compact state RN license.
- BLS for Healthcare Provider required.
- PALS required within 12 months of hire.
- ACLS required within 12 months of hire.
- NIH Stroke Scale Certification required within 10 weeks of hire.
- Previous ER experience preferred.
