Job Summary
Assess and identify patient needs through direct observation, examination, interviews, and medical record review. Manage WOC(ET) nursing office operations, program development, and outpatient services for complex draining wounds, ostomies, fistulae, dermal ulcers, tubes, and incontinence. Plan patient care with realistic, measurable goals consistent with the medical plan of care, including discharge planning. Implement safe and therapeutically effective interventions and evaluate patient progress toward expected outcomes. Provide educational opportunities regarding care guidelines. Requires Registered Nurse status, Certified Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nurse certification, and current BLS. Offers $20,000 sign-on bonus and up to $8,000 relocation assistance. Located at St. Anthony Hospital in Lakewood, Colorado, a Level I Trauma Center with Magnet designation.
Required Qualifications
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- RN License; Current state nursing licenses or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact
- Current Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association
- Certified Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nurse
Desired Qualifications
- Two (2) years clinical nursing experience in acute care or wound care setting
