Job Summary
Provide primary skin care to residents under medical direction with emphasis on treatment and therapy of skin disorders; requires a nursing degree and at least one year of wound-care experience, with preferred Wound Care Certification. Required Qualifications
- Must possess, as a minimum, a nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing
- Must have, as a minimum, 1 year(s) clinical experience in a hospital, long-term care facility, or other related healthcare facility as Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse
- Must possess a working knowledge of epidemiology, microbiology, and aseptic technique to include universal precautions
- Wound Care Certification preferred
- At least one year experience in wound care required
