Job Summary
RN Wound Nurse responsible for comprehensive wound assessments and individualized care plans, monitoring and treating wounds, educating staff on wound prevention and skin integrity, documenting progress, collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, and participating in quality improvement and regulatory compliance within a 200-bed skilled nursing center.
Required Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Experience in wound care preferred; wound certification is a plus
- Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings preferred
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
