Job Summary
Prescribe, delegate, and coordinate nursing care for patients requiring wound and ostomy management. Assess complex wounds, develop treatment plans, and monitor signs of infection while safely cleaning surgical openings, ulcers, pressure injuries, feeding tube sites, and abscesses. Educate clinical staff on proper wound care practices. This full-time day shift role requires WCC or WOCN certification, an active RN license, and the ability to lift 50 pounds, stand, and walk throughout shifts. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the hiring state and/or compact state licensure
- WCC (Wound Care Certified) or WOCN (Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurse) certification
- Ability to regularly push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to grip
- Ability to reach
- Ability to bend
- Ability to kneel
- Ability to twist
- Ability to squat
