Job Summary
Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory wound care setting using the nursing process and patient-family-centered principles. Deliver quality care under the direction of Nursing and Operational Leadership while adhering to established policies and procedures. Maintain a 20-hour weekly schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Care Center Royal Oak. Requires an Associate's degree in nursing, two years of acute care experience, and current Michigan RN licensure.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree graduate (A.D.N.) or equivalent of an accredited school of nursing
- Bachelor's Degree (B.S.N., M.S.N., or DNP/PhD)
- 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience
- State of Michigan Registered Nurse license
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support certification
- Specialty certification
- Must be able to enroll in an accredited BSN program within one (1) year of licensure date and complete within five (5) years
- Must comply with MMR, Varicella, Tdap, and Influenza vaccine requirement
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (B.S.N., M.S.N., or DNP/PhD), preferred - if not minimum BSN prepared
