Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, coordinate resident assessments, and implement health maintenance plans for seniors. Collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues, families, and providers to evaluate care outcomes and educate residents on diagnosis and treatment. Delegate appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel while ensuring safe administration of resident care within the Nurse Practice Act. Serve as charge nurse when assigned to manage care delivery and resolve service concerns. Work part-time shifts including 3 AM and 3 PM rotations with every other weekend and holiday coverage. Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
