Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care for residents, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues, providers, and families to coordinate care, conduct resident assessments, and deliver education. Manage preventative care, health maintenance, and treatment phases while functioning within the full scope of nursing practice and state standards. May serve as charge nurse to delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel, ensuring safe administration of care and resolving service concerns. Work evening shifts from 2pm to 10:30pm, 32 hours per week, including every other weekend and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be available for every other weekend and holiday
- Must be available for evening shifts (2pm-1030pm)
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
