Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, coordinate resident assessments, and implement health maintenance and treatment plans for seniors. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, residents, and families to evaluate care outcomes and ensure safe administration of services. Serve as charge nurse when assigned, delegating appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel within their scope of competence. Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise, adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Work evening shifts (2pm–10:30pm) for 32 hours weekly, including every other weekend and holidays, with incentives for weekend work and late-night hours.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be available for holiday shifts
- Must be available for evening shifts
- Must be available for shifts between 6pm and 6am
- Must be able to work every other weekend
- Must be able to work holidays
- Must be able to work 32 hours per week
- Must be able to work 8 hour shifts
- Must be able to work full time
