Job Summary
Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for residents across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues to coordinate care and resolve service concerns. Serve as charge nurse when assigned to delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act. Maintain competency in age and population-specific standards while practicing within the full scope of nursing expertise. Work evening shifts from 2pm to 10:30pm, 32 hours weekly, including every other weekend and holidays, with a sign-on bonus and shift incentives available.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be available for holiday shifts
- Must be available for evening shifts
- Must be available for shifts between 6pm and 6am
- Must pass a drug screen
- Must pass a pre-employment background screening
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
