Job Summary
Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes planning, implementation, and evaluation. Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care, conduct resident assessments, and deliver education. Manage preventative care, health maintenance, and treatment phases while serving as charge nurse to delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel. Adhere to the Nurse Practice Act, state licensure standards, and American Nurses Association Code of Ethics. Work evening shifts (2pm–10:30pm) for 32 hours weekly, including every other weekend and holidays, with incentives for weekend and late-night hours.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
