Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care for residents, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and families to coordinate care, administer treatments, and conduct resident education. Serve as charge nurse when assigned, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel while ensuring safe care delivery. Maintain competency within the full scope of nursing practice standards and the Nurse Practice Act. Work evening shifts from 2pm to 10:30pm, 32 hours per week, including every other weekend and holidays. Receive a sign-on bonus and shift incentives.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
