Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care for residents, coordinating assessments, education, and treatment while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Manage resident safety by serving as charge nurse when needed to delegate tasks to assistive personnel within scope and standards. Deliver comprehensive care across preventative, diagnostic, and therapeutic phases, ensuring compliance with the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Work evening shifts (2pm–10:30pm) for 32 hours weekly, including every other weekend and holidays, with a sign-on bonus and shift incentives.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
