Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, coordinate resident assessments, and implement treatment plans for seniors in a Christian environment. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, providers, and families to evaluate care outcomes and educate residents on health maintenance. May serve as charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel while ensuring safe administration of services. Maintain competency within the full scope of nursing practice and state licensure standards. Full-time evening shift (2pm–10:30pm) with every other weekend and holiday coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
