Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care for residents, including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes planning, implementation, and evaluation. Collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues and families to plan and evaluate care, while managing preventative care, health maintenance, and treatment phases. Coordinate resident care and education, and serve as charge nurse to delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel within their scope of competence. Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise and adhere to state licensure standards and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics. Full-time evening shifts (2pm–10:30pm) with every other weekend and holiday coverage. Weekly hours are 32. Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be available for every other weekend and holiday
- Must be available for evening shifts (2pm-1030pm)
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
