Job Summary
RN-Women\'s Services position in a Family Birth Center setting. Provides ongoing nursing care to women and newborns, coordinates interprofessional care, applies evidence-based practices, and serves as a role model and mentor. Requires RN licensure in applicable states (IL/MO/OK/WI or compact license) with BLS/HCP and ALS/NRP/PALS-ALS- Essentials certifications as listed. Shift is 7:00 am–7:00 pm with every third weekend and on-call requirements; reports within 45 minutes for call radius; scheduled weekly hours: 36. Emphasizes family-centered, culturally competent care, health teaching, and collaboration with families and healthcare teams.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or equivalent for licensing
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in Illinois (IL) or multi-state/compact licensure
- RN licensure in Missouri (MO) or as required by compact states
- RN licensure in Oklahoma (OK) or as required by compact states
- RN licensure in Wisconsin (WI) or as required by compact states
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) or Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Essentials
- State-specific nursing license verification as applicable
